ANSWER

Plantations are a type of commercial farming where a single crop of tea, coffee, sugarcane, cashew, rubber, banana or cotton is grown. A large amount of labor and capital are required. The produce may be processed on the farm itself or in nearby factories. The development of a transport network is thus essential for such farming. Rubber in Malaysia, coffee in Brazil, tea in India and Sri Lanka are some examples.

If I am a farmer with the large holding of a land I will do a commercial farming.

Explanation:

  • Crops can be divided into two types. They are cash crops and food crops , food crops are usually grown for the consumption of the farmers.
  • Cash crops are grown extensively for selling it in the market we stop the profit which is earned from cash crop is much higher as compared to the food crop and hence I want to do a commercial farming. Cash crop farming requires a large piece of land which has been available
  • the type of crop I want to grow depends on the climate of the place. In in cold climate I will like to grow crops like tea or coffee.
