during fever, the temperature of our body increases from the normal body temperature of 98.6 degree Fahrenheit to higher temperature, sometimes to 105 degree Celsius .At is temperature, the function of the enzymes in our taste buds stops since they can work efficiently only in the temperature range of 77 to 98.6 degree fahrenheit .The cells in the taste buds cannot send messages to the nerve centre in the brain.
