I believe that a crime is a crime even if it is to feed your child. What if the money or food you stole was earned by some parent to fess his/her child? What if the food or money was for another good cause? You have no right to take something that is not yours. I don’t know if you believe in karma and god or not but I do. Whatever you sow you shall reap. You will regret this decision to steal forever. You will always think - “Should I have not stole that food/money that day?” There are many ways to earn money. There are many organisations all around the world that feed the hungry. There are many places and people who do charity work like that. In temples, mosques, gurudwaras and churches many people feed the poor.
Conclusion - Whatever the reason is, you have no right to take something that you did not work for and earn.
Thanks
