If you have to choose a place to fix a wind vane, which of these would you choose:
a verandah, a rooftop or a pit in the ground. Give reasons for your answer.

A verandah obviously because traditionally it has always been kept at the rooftop it's more useful as well because wind might get blocked at pit or ground or verendah so you should probably keep it at higher elevation for better use
