Given :-

  • A parallelogram has a base of 12 cm and an area of 192 cm²

To find :-

  • Height of Parallelogram

Solution :-

  • Area of Parallelogram = 192cm²

  • Base of Parallelogram = 12cm

As we know that

Area of Parallelogram = b × h

  • Where " b " is base and " h " is height of parallelogram.

According to the question

→ Area of Parallelogram = 192

  • b = 12cm

→ b × h = 192

Substitute the value of base

→ 12 × h = 192

→ h = 192/12

→ h = 16cm

Therefore, height of Parallelogram is 16cm

Verification :-

Area of Parallelogram

→ base × height

Put the value of base and height

→ 12 × 16

→ 192 cm²

  • Hence, verified

More to know :-

  • Area of circle = πr²
  • Circumference of circle = 2πr
  • Perimeter of rectangle =2(l + b)
  • Perimeter of square = 4 × side
  • Area of square = side × side
  • Area of rhombus = ½ × product of diagonals
  • Area of trapezium = ½ × sum of parallel sides × height
