First Law- A book kept on a table will be at rest and continue to be at rest unless a force acts on it.....

Second Law- When a glass vessel falls from a height on a hard floor, it comes to rest almost immediately (in a very short period of time). But if it falls on a carpet, or any soft surface, the time duration in which the vessel comes to rest, increases and so the surface exerts less force on the vessel and it does not break.

Third Law- When you exert a force on a wall by pushing your hand against it, you experience a force exerted by the wall on your palm.

1.EVERY BODY CONTINUES TO BE IN REST OR OF UNIFORM MOTION UNLESS AN EXTERNAL FORCE ACTS ON IT.

Example:

i) A book on your table does not come towards you unless you put effort to take it

ii) The Earth and other planets will not revolve around the sun when there exists no gravitational field.

iii) A rocket or any other propelling object does not take off unless a force equal to its weight is applied on it.

2.THE FORCE ACTING ON A BODY IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE RATE OF CHANGE OF MOMENTUM

Example:

i) When you disturb an object in a short period of time, it has more effect i.e impulse.

ii) Since F=ma, a car of small mass moving with great acceleration, hitting on a wall and truck having great mass moving with small value of acceleration, hitting on the same wall will have similar effects (Hope you can understand what im trying to convey)

3. EVERY ACTION HAS AN EQUAL AND OPPOSITE REACTION

Example:

i) If you hit a wall, your fist will get hurt.

ii) If you push an object, it will start moving.

iii) If two vehicles crash each other, kinetic energy is converted into light, sound and heat energy.
