Image distance from the eye lens in the normal eye when we increase the distance of an object from the eye, remains unchanged. (Option C)

• Our eyes always maintain a specific image distance in order to get a constantly stable visualisation.

• In order to maintain this fixed image distance, the pupil of our eye changes it's opening (physical aperture) to increase or decrease the focal lengths,as per the necessity.

• Due,to the act of the pupil as the physical aperture of our eyes, the focal distance is adjusted in such a way, that the image distance always stays the same without being affected by the object distance.
