If the student is having a stage fright then you can't solve her stage fright just by writing a simple letter,First you need to know how afraid is she of facing an audience then after you find out that after particularly talking to her then take it slow and guide her particularly,I don't really know how but if a student's stage fright is on an extreme level then it would be really great if you could just take it slow because a letter may be able to built some confidence in her but it definitely won't help her if she has a stage fright on an extreme level
