Prajwal: Hello Adarsh! Congratulations on your success.
Adarsh: Thank You! And You are Mr...
Prajwal: I am from Hindustan Times, New Delhi. This is Devika and Sania
with me. We came to this Chota Gao to spend some time with
you and take an interview. Could we ? Do you mind ?
Adarsh: (Blushed and happy) Oh Yes! Please carry on..
Prajwal: How do you feel about your 10 points in the S.S.C. exam ?
Adarsh: I feel good and happy that my hardwork paid off. It is not easy
being in Chota Gao and score A+ in all subjects. My parents
are very happy.
Devika: How were you able to score so high?
Adarsh: Well, I had a disciplined routine for the day. Fixed a weekly
timetable for each subject in week. I followed it without fail.
Sania: Any other efforts ? How do you study and remember the large
syllabus and tough maths ?
Adarsh: Hmm... After the classes, I return home and refresh myself by
strolling in the garden. I relax my eyes and brain. Then I revise
the day's lessons. I do quickly the exercises of level 3 and above.
I write the formulae on one page and rewrite them so that I do
not forget those.
Devika: So it is your good memory that saw you through to the success ?
Adarsh: Well, one needs good memory. But understanding the logic,
applying formulas, and chemical reactions are important too.
For descriptive subjects like social studies, I try to memorise as
much as I can beyond the reasoning of logic.Often
common sense and intuition help too.
Prajwal: How about the school? Do they teach well?
Adarsh : Definitely. The teachers and fellow students provided me with
a good environment that encouraged me to raise to this level.
The classroom teaching is the starting point for my learning.
Devika: Do you sleep late ? study late into night?
Adarsh: I study till 11 pm. Then I wake up 5am and do a brisk morning walk. I do
10 minutes of Yoga too.
Sania: Wow! Do you want to say something more?
Adarsh: Yeah! Certain holidays I used to work with social educational and
collaborative learning sites. Positive interactions there helped me. My
My reactions and instincts became faster. I learned to interact with
good boys and girls. I'm happy as I'm able to think and solve
problems quicker. Brought out the better me.
Prajwal: Great to hear that. What do you want to do now? Doctor?
Engineer ? Accountant ?
Adarsh: I will study Engineering. I want to start a company and employ
many people. I would like that my Chota Gao develops. Because
it's their love and affection that enabled me to succeed.
Prajwal: Sania: Devika: That's good. We wish you good luck. It's been
fantastic with you.
