So,

The exact number of coins are 5x, 6x, 2x

Now,

Amount of rupees formed from 1 rupee is 2x

50 paise is 1/2 of rupee and there are 5x 50 paise coins, so total rupees from 50 paise coins is (5x/2)

25 paise is 1/4 of rupee and there are 6x 25 paise coins, so total rupees from 25 paise coins is (6x/4)=3x/2

Now,

The sum adds upto 42 rupees

So,

2x + 5x/2 + 3x/2 = 42

6x = 42

x=7

So,

There are

35 50paise, 42 25paise and 14 1rupee coins
