Given rotten apple = 2/5

Total apples = 25

Hence number of rotten apple = 2/5 × 25
= 10

Since 10 apples are rotten, this means rest are good.

So good apples = 25 - 10 = 15

Hence, 15 apples are good

Total number of apples = 25 apples

Rotten apples =  \frac{2}{5}

Number of rotten apples
 =\frac{2}{5} \times 25 \\ = \frac{50}{5} \\ = 10

Hence, no. of good apples = 25 - 10
= 15
