In a circular track of radius 100 m an athlete runs 1/4 of the ground. What would be the displacement?​

Given, r = 100 m.

According to Pythagoras Theorem,

(OA)² + (OB)² = (BA)²

=> (100)² + (100)² = (BA)²

=> 10000 + 10000 = (BA)²

=> (BA)² = 20000

=> BA = √20000

=> BA = 100√2 m

Therefore, the displacement is 100√2 m.
