let total no of student be 100%
(75.8% + 49.4 %)=125.2 %
so , student % took both sub = (125.2-100)%=25.2%
no of student = 250×25.2%=63

ankit6390: ohhhh
ankit6390: ap job krte ho kyy
Irra: no home
ankit6390: ohhh ....koi ni gd luck
Irra: Thanks again..TC
ankit6390: wlcm
ankit6390: wrong -36+32=68, right - 54+34=88, error = 88-68=20 and 20 error fr 100 number , so each no. has error = 0.2 so new avg = 40-0.2=39.8
ankit6390: heyy srry srry , new avg is 40+0.2=40.2
ankit6390: srry glti s type ho gya

if given that every student has taken at least one subject then...
percentage of students who have taken both French and Latin are =(75.8-49.4)%=26.4%
so number of those students are=26.4% of 250
=(26.4/100)×250
=(264/1000)×250
=264/4
=66 students

Irra: Thanks!! But answer is 63 in my test series
Gautam22121998: hmmm sorry... my answer is incorrect...
Irra: No problem...You atleast tried!! Goodluck
