question :-

in a class of 45 students. girls are 40%. find no of boys ?

Given :-

\texttt{Total\:number\:of\: students\:=\:45}

\texttt{Total\:Numbers of girls\:=\:40} %

To find :-

Numbers of boys

Solution :-

  • Here to find numbers of boys first we have to convert percentage of girls in numbers and then we have to subtract total numbers of student by the total  numbers of girls .

Let do it !

:\longrightarrow\:\texttt{Total\:Numbers of girls}\:\mathsf{=\:\frac{40}{100}\:\times\:45}

:\longrightarrow\:\texttt{Total\:Numbers of girls}\:\mathsf{=\:\frac{4}{10}\:\times\:45}

:\longrightarrow\:\texttt{Total\:Numbers of girls}\:\mathsf{=\:\frac{2}{5}\:\times\:45}

:\longrightarrow\:\texttt{Total\:Numbers of girls}\:\mathsf{=\:2\:\times\:9}

:\longrightarrow\:\texttt{Total\:Numbers of girls}\:\mathsf{=\:18}

\boxed{\bold{\therefore\:Total\:numbers\:of\:girls\:are\:18}}

Now ,

\texttt{Total\:numbers\:of\:boys}\:\mathsf{=}\\\texttt{Total\:numbers\:of\:students}\:\mathsf{-}\:\texttt{Total\:numbers\:of\:girls}

\texttt{Total\:numbers\:of\:boys}\:\mathsf{= 45\:-\:18}

\texttt{Total\:numbers\:of\:boys}\:\mathsf{=\:27}

\bold{\therefore\:total\:numbers\:of\:boys\:are}

\Huge\boxed{27}
