14 % of students failed, so 100 - 14 % have passed.

86 % have passed.

Given, 86% of members = 559 .

Let the total number be " x " .

86% of x = 559 .

x = 559 * 100 / 86

x = 559* 100/86

x = 650 students.

Number of students failed = 650 - 559 = 91 .
