Power =  \frac{Energy }{Time}

Energy = Power × Time

--------------------------------------------

Bulb : -

Power of 1 bulb = 100 W = 0.1 kW                                      [ 1kw = 1000 W ]

Time = 12 hrs

Energy consumed by 1 bulb = 0.1 × 12
                                              = 1.2 kWh

Energy consumed by 10 bulbs = 1.2 × 10
                                                  = 12 kWh
===================================================

Fan :-

Power of 1 fan = 110 W = 0.11 kWh

Time = 12 hrs

Energy consumed by 1 bulb = 0.11 × 12
                                              = 1.32 kWh

Energy consumed by 5 bulbs = 1.32 × 5
                                                = 6.6 kWh

=========================================

Total energy consumed = Energy consumed by 10 bulbs  + Energy consumed by 5 bulbs
                                      = 12 + 6.6
                                      = 18 .6 kWh

We know that

1 kwh = 1 unit

Total units of energy consumed = 18.6 units.

Cost of energy for 1 unit = Rs 2

Total cost = 18.6 × 2
                = 37.2 Rs
