Seed Formation occurs as Ovule develops a hard seed coat, ovary ripens to form a fruit(not in the case of False Fruits like Apple),Sepals and petals may fall and then Germination occurs in presence of suitable environment.

After fertilization all the petals and sepals falls and then the ovule becomes the seed and the ovary rupesh into a fruit.
