In a group of 500 men, 380 speak french and 215 speak german. everyone speaks at least one of the two languages. find the ratio of the number of men who speak both the languages to the number of men who speak french only.

595-500= 95
hence, 95 people speaks both french and german.
215-95= 110
Hence, 110 people speak french only.
So, total number of people who speaks both the languages are 95.
and, total number of people who speaks only french are 110.
so, now we will find ratio of the no of men who speaks both languages to the number of men who only speak French..
95/110= 19/22
hence, 19:22 is right ans .
if 19 people speaks both languages than 22 people speak only french..
