In a house the electric devices operated in the following way 3 bulb of 40 watt for 3 hour 2 fans of 60 watt for 4 hours .calculate the energy consumed by them in units for the month of June also .calculate bill if rate is 4.15 per unit.

Energy consumed by 3bulbs= 3×40×3
=360Wh
Energy consumed by fans= 2×60×4
=480Wh
Total energy consumed by fans and bulbs= 360+480
=840Wh
=0.84 KWh or 0.84 unit
Total cost in 30 days= 30 × 0.84 ×4.15
1145.8 rupees
