Answer:

please follow me and mark me as brilliant.

Explanation:

Energy consume is watt*hour*quantity

In 1,2,3 case respectively

40w*5*2= 400w

60w*2.5*1= 150w

50w*10*2=1000w

Total energy consumed 1000+150+400w=1550w

Hope it helped

(i) Maximum power of the circuit = (40 x 15) + (100 x 5) + (80 x 5) + (1000 x 1)

= 600 + 500 + 400 + 1000

= 2500 W = 2.5 kW.

(ii) Maximum current capacity = Total wattage/Voltage of mains = 2500/220 = 11.36 (or 11.4) A.

(iii) Electrical energy consumed in a week

In 40 W bulbs = (40 x 15) x (4 x 7)/1000 = 16.8 kWh

In 100W bulbs = (100 x 5) x (4 x 7)/1000 = 14 kWh

In 80 W fans = (80 x 5) x (10 x 7)/1000 = 28 kWh

In 1 kW heater = (1000 x 1) x (2 x 7)/1000 = 14 kWh

∴ Total electrical energy consumed = 16.8 + 14 + 28 + 14 = 72.8 kWh.

(iv) Cost of electricity = 72.8 x 1.25 = 91 Rs

HOPE it's helpful for you my dear friend ♥️
