Given :

In a library 126 books require a shelf length of 3.78m.

To Find:

How many books would occupy s shelf length of 4.6 m.

Solution:

No. of books required for a shelf length of 3.78 m = 126

No. of books required for a shelf length 1 m =\frac{126}{3.78}

No. of books required for a shelf length of 4.6 m = \frac{126}{3.78} \times 4.6=153.33

So,No. of books required for a shelf length of 4.6 m =153
