Total quantity =60 litres
Ratio = 2:1
Part of milk =2/3
Milk = 2/3×60=40 litres
Part of water=1/3=20 litres
Now, let the volume of water increased be x
A. T. P
40/(20+x)=1/2
Or,20+x=40×2
Or,20+x=80
Or,x =80-20
Or,x=60
So 60 litres of water should be added
