Answer: 2 : 21

Step-by-step explanation:

1st pot = 4 : 3 (milk : water)

2nd pot = 9 : 1 (milk : water)

req 3 : 2

first pot containing milk in proportion = 4/7

second pot containing milk in proportion = 9/10

req mean milk proportion = 3/5

mean milk comparing with first pot = ((3/5)-(4/7))

                                                          =((21-20)/(35))

                                                          =(1/35)

mean milk comparing with second pot =(( 3/5)-(9/10))

                                                                  = 0.6-0.9 = -0.3 = -3/10

               now, req milk proportion

                             = ((1/35):(3/10))

                             = 10*1 : 35*3

                             =10: 105 = 2 : 21 ( 5th table)
