Given :-

Total number of boys = 800

Percent of unhealthy boys = 20%

Required percentage of unhealthy boys = 36%

To Find :-

Number of boys should be added to make 36% unhealthy boys

Solution :-

Now,

We have to find :-

➞ 20% of 800 = 20/100 × 800 = 0.2 × 800 = 160

➞ Number of unhealthy boys = 160

Now,

➞ 36% of 800 = 36/100 × 800 = 0.36 × 800 = 288

➞ Number of unhealthy boys = 288

Now,

➞ Present time no of unhealthy boys = 160

➞ When percentage of unhealthy boys is 36% then number of unhealthy boys = 288

Hence,

Number of boys need to be added to make unhealthy boys 36% is :-

288 - 160 = 128

Answer:

Suppose total No of children in a school is = 100

Then out of 100 children 4/5 children are boys

100 x 4/5 = 80 boys

Then total No of girls are = 100 - 80 =20 girls

If total girls are 20 in a school then total No of children are = 100

If total girls are 1 in a school then total No of children are = 100/20 =5

If total girls are 200 in a school then total No of children are = 5 x 200 = 1000

Total No of boys = 1000 - 200 = 800 boys

Total No of girls = 1000 - 800 = 200 girls

Total No of student= 200 + 800 = 1000 student
