in a test +3 marks are given for every correct answer and -1 mark are given for every incorrect answer. sona attempted all the questions and scored +20 though she got 10 correct answers. @ how many incorrect answers has she attempted? b) how many questions were given in the test?

Total no of q = 20
10 question is right 10*3=30
And she score 20 mark means she wrong 10 question -10 marks

and A- Marks for 1correct answer = +3

Marks for 10 correct answer =3 ✖ 10=30

Sona's score=20

marks obtained for incorrect answers =20-30=-1.

Marks given for 1 incorrect answer=-1

Therefore,number of incorrect answers =(-10) ➗ (1)=10

Ans b. Number of questions given in the test= No.of correct answer+No.of incorrect answer

10+10=20
