Let the smaller side be xcm and other be x+ 2 cm

as we know that

area of trapezium = 1/2 × sum of measure of parallel sides × height

80 = 1/2 ( x + x + 2 ) × 8

80 = 4 ( 2x + 2 )

80 = 8x + 8

8x = 80 - 8

x = 72/8

x = 9

so the parallel sides of trapezium are of 9 cm & 11 cm
