AB = 8cm
BC = 5.6 cm
CA = 6.5 cm

=> angle C will be the smallest because angle opposite to the largest side is the smallest

=> angle A will be the largest because angle opposite to the smallest side is the largest

hope this helps

Greatest angle in ΔABC is ∠C and smallest angle is ∠A where  AB = 8 cm , BC = 5 .6 cm and CA = 6.5 cm

Given:

  • ΔABC
  • AB = 8 cm
  • BC = 5.6 cm
  • CA = 6.5 cm

To Find:

  • The Greatest angle in the triangle
  • Smallest angle in the triangle

Solution:

  • Angle opposite to largest sides is greatest in a given Triangle
  • Angle opposite to shortest side is smallest in a given triangle

Step 1:

Compare given sides of triangle

8 > 6.5 > 5.6

Hence

AB > CA > BC

Step 2:

Check the angle opposite to largest side AB

Angle C is opposite to AB

Hence Angle C is greatest

Step 3:

Check the angle opposite to shortest side BC

Angle A is opposite to BC

Hence Angle A is smallest
