In ∆ABC, right angled at B, it is given that AB= 12 cm and BC= 5 cm. Find the value of cos A, cosec A, cos C, cosec C.

In ∆ABC,

right angled at B, AB= 12 cm and BC= 5 cm.

by pythagores theorem,AC=13cm.

→cos A=adj/hyp=AB/AC=12/13

→cosecA=hyp/opp=AC/BC=13/5

→cos C=adj/hyp=BC/AC=5/13

→cosecC=hyp/opp=AC/AB=13/12
