The human population is growing immensely. People are coming out of their villages into cities in search of jobs, to fill their stomach, to take care of their family. But what is happening due to migration? The number of slums are increasing.
People who cannot afford a living end up them selves in slums. The condition of these areas in inhuman. A family of 6 to 7 people live in a small block. No private sanitary area. Most of them have an open defecation. No cross ventilation. Because of such conditions there is increase in chance of spreading a contagious disease. Because of such conditions diseases like rheumatoid diseases, pneumonia spread very rapidly among such populations.
