 \sf{\large{\underline {ARITHMETIC \:PROGRESSIONS}}} :

Given, Common difference, d = - 4

Seventh term, A7 = 4

A7 = a + ( 7 - 1 ) d

4 = a + 6( - 4 )

4 = a - 24

a = 4 + 24 = 28

So, First term of the A. P., a = 28.

papakiprinciess: a=28
