HELLOW FRIEND, CHAI PEELO.

GIVEN,

GRADE A STUDENTS = 20%

GRADE B STUDENTS = 35%

GRADE C STUDENTS = 25%

TOTAL STUDENTS FAILED = 60_______(1)

TOTAL % OF STUDENTS PASSED = 80%

THEREFORE, TOTAL % OF STUDENTS FAILED

= 100-80

= 20%

SO, 60 STUDENTS = 20% OF ALL STUDENTS

(from (1)

 = > \frac{x}{100} \times 20 = 60 \\ = > 20x \: = 6000 \\ = > \: x \: = \frac{6000}{20} \\ = > x \: = 300

Therefore, a total of 300 students appeared in the exam.
