In an election, there were only candidates. The total number of voters in this constituency were 50000 and 70% of the total voters were polled . If the winning candidate got 62 % of the voters polled , then how many voters were in favour of the other candidate?

total voters were polled=70%of 50000=35000.
% of voters were in favour of the other candidate=(100-62)%=38%
no. of voters in favour of the other candidate=
38%of350000=13300
