Answer:

A received = 38420 Votes

Step-by-step explanation:

In an election, there were two candidates A and B. The total number of voters in this constituency was the total votes were polied. If 68% of the polied votes were cast in favour of A,and 20340 vote more than B how many votes were received by A?

Let say Total Votes were = 100V

as all votes Casted

so Polled Votes = 100V

A Received = (68/100) * 100V = 68V

B received = 100V - 68V = 32V

A received  68V - 32V = 36V more Votes than B

36V = 20340

1 = 20340/36V

68V = (20340/36V) * 68V  = 38420

A received = 38420 Votes
