There should be many reasons that why the bulb not glowing. so we have to observe these:-
1) if the bulb is fused or the battery is dead then also the bulb will not glow.
2) if the potential difference of battery is not enouph for the bulb then bulb will not glow.
3) if the terminals of cells in battery are not rearranged properly i.e. negative(-) to positive(+) or the terminals of bulb and battery are not rearranged in the above manner then also the bulb will not glow.
4) if there is a cut in the wires then the bulb will not glow.
