In an exam, 14% of students failed & 559 students passed. Determine the number of students who failed. Maths question solution.

Number of students who passed = 559
Percentage of students of passed = (100-14) = 86%

Total number of students = 559/(86%) = 559/0.86 = 650

Number of students who failed = total students - students who passed
                                                 = 650 - 559
                                                 = 91 students
