Given:

Pass percentage: 45%

Ramu marks : 210

Solution:

➤ To calculate the marks by which he failed : 210➕ 60 = 270

➤ Let the maximum marks be : x

➤ Equation formed: 45% of x = 270 marks

➤ 45x/100=270 ➤ x= 270×100/45

➤ x= 600

➤ Hence, the maximum marks = 600
