==> angle B = angle C [ angles opp. to equal sides are equal]
Given angle B = 65°
==> angle C = 65°
In triangle ABC by angle sum property
angle A + angle B + angle C = 180°
==> angle A = 180 - ( 65 + 65 )
==> angle A = 180 - 130 = 50°
Angle A is the smaller angle of the triangle
==> BC is the smaller side of the given triangle
[ sides opp. to smaller angles are shorter ]
