in an orchard, 1/5 of orange trees,3/13 are mango trees and the rest are banana trees .If the banana trees are 148 in number.Find the total number of trees in the orchard​

Answer:

let the number of tree be x

1/5x- orange tree

3/13x- mango tree

remaining tree= 1-(1/5+3/13)

=1-28/65

=37/65

=37/65x= 148

x= 260

no. of orange trees = 1/5 × 260 = 52

no. of mango trees = 3 /13× 260 = 60
