Vaishya

Vaishyas are third in the characteristic of the four Hindu classes, including essentially the retailers, industry or business services. Hindu spiritual manuals prescribed Vaishyas to established positions in farming but over time they came to be landowners, merchants, and money-lenders. Therefore making it their competency to obtain nutriment for those of more powerful class, since they were of the lower section.
