In animals, muscular movement is caused due to the change in position of proteins. How do you think movement will be brought about in touch me not plants which lacks these proteins??

n plants, movements occur because of the difference in water pressure, which is brought about by movement of water into and out of the cell.

movement in plant cells Is caused by phythohormones. When someone touches the touch me not plant,, the upper parts of the leaf stalk loses water and bends due to the turgidity of the lower cells of leaf stalk.
