In budding, does the cell divide itself or does it make its replica


Akshat130: In budding, the offspring grows as a bud from parent's body(as an outgrowth) and when it is mature enough, it detaches itself and survives independently

Mrinmay1: In budding the a small bud is formed on the body of adult cell and it get separated later. The cell is not devided its replica is formed. Cell devides during binary or multiple fission.
