Amitosis is a type of simple cell division involving division of nucleus and cytoplasm without involving division of dna and formation of spindle fibres .

Mitosis is a type of cell division in which a cell divides without halving the number of chromosomes. It is mainly seen in somatic cells.Usually 2 cells are produced by one division.
