NACl--->Na^+ +Cl^-
here Na is a positive ion so it will go at negative electrode ( cathode ) and Cl is a negative ion so it will go at positive electrode(anode)......

Nacl dissociates into Na+ and Cl-

As cathode is + ve, Cl- is evolved there while as anode is -ve Na+ deposits there
