Answer:

sum of the measures of angles in linear pair is 180°.

therefore, sum of angle AOC + angle BOC is 180°

Let's take x has common multiple.

thus 6x + 4x = 180° Given

10x = 180

x = 18°

Angle AOC = 6x = 6*18

= 108°

Angle BOC = 4x = 4*18

= 72°

Answer:

solution:

angle 1 = 6x

angle 2 = 4x

Sum of both angles = 6x+4x=180° (linear pair)

6x+4x=180°

10x=180°

x=180°/10°

x=18°

6*18°=108°

4*18°=72°

verification:

108°+72°=180°

180°=180°

LHS=RHS

So, x=18° satisfies the equation.
