the perimeter of the shaded
region.

perimeter of shaded region = perimeter of semi circle (ARC-APB) + (BSD-CQD)

= πr+d -πr+d +πr+d -πr+d

=(22÷7×7+14-22÷7×7÷2+7 )×2

= (36-18 )×2

=(18)×2

=36.
