In human body ‘A’ is a pumping organ. From lungs blood vessels ‘B’ with oxygenated blood

enters into upper left chamber ‘C’ of the organ. When chamber ‘C’ contracts, blood flows into

lower left chamber ‘D’. When chamber ‘D’ contracts, blood is pumped to all parts of the body

except lungs through blood vessel ‘E’. Deoxygenated blood from body parts is collected by

blood vessel ‘F’ and opens into upper right chamber ‘G’. When this chamber contracts, blood

flows into lower chamber ‘H’. Lastly, ‘H’ contracts and pumps deoxygenated blood to lungs

by blood vessel ‘I’.

Now, answer these questions.

1. ‘A’ represent which organ of the human body.

2. Name the blood vessels B, E, F and I.

3. Name the chambers C, D, G and H.

4. What is the specification of blood vessels ‘B’ and ‘I’?

5. Mention the importance of the organ system which has this organ A.

Answer:

1)A- Heart

2)B-Pulmonary vein E-arteries F-veins I-Pulmaonary artery

3)C-left atriam D- left ventricle G- right atriam H- right ventricle

4)B and I specification

B is the only vein that pumps oxygenated blood and I is the only artery that pumps deoxy.. blood and these B and I connect heart to purifier lungs

5)the organ system which has heart is called circulatory system. The circulatory system provides all the cells of the body with oxygen and essential materials to produce energy and brings back the nonessential materials like CO2( carbon dioxide)

Hope this helps you
