In 'Journey By The Night' , "There had been other children of course, but they were dead, carried off by cholera and influenza....."
Is the author talking about Sher Singh Bahadur's children or the other children of the village?

The author is talking about only Sher Singh Bahadur's children......
Sher Singh and Kunwar were not only the sons of Sher Singh Bahadur's but there were many more who died of these diseases.....

WHO HAD BEEN DIED EARLIER BECAUSE OF MANY DISEASE THATS THE ONLY REASON WHY MOTHER DIDNT CRY OR SHOCK WHEN KUWAR IS IN BAD HEALTH....
