we know that there are two formulas for finding the area of rhombus. one is 1/2 × d1 × d2. in this formula both the diagonals are given. and then we have to solve according to the question. another one is b × h. as we know rhombus is like a parallelogram so altitude is the height and base is the side.

here base is 6.5cm and height is 4cm.

therefore area of the rhombus = b × h

= 6.5 × 4

= 26cm²

in this we used the b × h formula, as both the side and altitude is given.
