In large shopping centres,convex mirrors are used for security purpose.why?

Bcoz convex mirrors show a virtual, straight image in coparision to concave mirrors which show inverted and real image. And also it covers a wider field in comparison to plane mirror or concave mirror.

By the concave mirror, Viewer can easily view all object because it cover a large area.....
