∠BOD = ∠AOC = 40º  (vertically opposite angles)

∠AOC + ∠COE + ∠BOE = 180º  .....  (1)

 (angle on a straight line = 180º)

⇒ (∠AOC + ∠BOE) + ∠COE = 180º

⇒∠COE = 180º – (∠AOC + ∠BOE)

⇒∠COE = 180º – 70º = 110º

Reflex angle ∠COE = 360º – 110º = 250º

∠BOE = 180º –40º –110º = 30º  (using equation (1) )
